Pros and cons of Scattergories app for iPhone and iPad

Scattergories app good for

Its fun but after a dual, it loads for to long that I gotta back out and reopen the app. Other than that the game is addicting. Almost as fun as the board game!!
Decent range of acceptable answers with option to let them know when one is missing. Although it would be nice if they gave a reason when they reject a dispute. Seen some answers I would question the validity of too. Also, autocorrect changes to some strange things, preventing possible additions to the acceptable answers
I love that I can now play my favourite board game anytime. My only suggestion would be to add a non-Internet based gameplay option for when you are unable to connect. Otherwise, great game.
I got the board game for Christmas and never tried it out. But this version is so much fun! Defiantly going to have to play the board game version!
Im competitive and love word games, so this is the game for me.
I updated to the newest version and its awesome. There is so much new content now! New categories all the time. Great, challenging fun! Im happy the game censored words that might be inappropriate, so I can play with my nieces! Love being able to watch ads for free coins.

Some bad moments

Scattergories is one of my favourite games. This app really needs improvement. 1) The keyboard needs to be fixed. 2) It says something is wrong even if its right. EVEN if you dispute it. 3) It corrects perfectly spelled words into something else which sometimes doubles with someone else therefore cancelling out your answer.
The game froze up On me and now i cannot get Into it anymore. 2 thumbs way Down
I hate that it repeats categories over and over, need a bigger variety. Also it changes my answers, should not be able to do this, i have lost points because of this as it changes it to what the other person has! Also the bonus round for watching video is completely unfair game play. You are forcing people to watch your videos in order to win ( or not loose). The points should only count if both people choose to watch it.
1. Keyboard needs to be fixed to align more with traditional placements 2. Entries get changed randomly after being typed in 3. I seriously question the judgement calls. Many accepted/unaccepted that seem ridiculous to me 4. So many ads. So so so many ads
-cant play unless connected to their servers- waste of bandwidth. Cant play solo. Nothing like the board game.
Most Unique answers are not accepted (flies or raspberries as an answer for "things in a garden"). In many cases last names do not count (actor: Willis would not count for Bruce Willis). Also singular/plural are not consistent which makes it hard to navigate (ie: "Things (plural) in a refigerator" but an answer of raspberries should be raspberry). I realize that not everything can be thought of, but even when you put in a dispute about an answer you arent given a reason why they reject the answer. Cereals: Count Chocula is an actual cereal but does not count and is rejected in a dispute. While the platform and execution of the game is decent, I feel like the intent of the game is creativity and being creative in this version of the game will always be detrimental to you.
